Welcome
to the Second Space Age.
Postcards To Space is developing the world's first space sculpture.
STREET will be a 325ft diameter
ring made of Kapton, a space-rated plastic film. This craft is being
developed by selling Postcard Kits, it is a micro-payment funded
spacecraft. Order and fill out your Postcard, send it back and we'll
print it on the craft during costruction.

In flight the craft will
digitally
display your Postcard against the backdrop of Low Earth
Orbit, photograph it and we'll host the images through this website.
Watch as we demonstrate new project elements. Support P2S now and help
make space art a reality. Help make this happen and your Postcards will
eventually end up on Mars.

Send
the message you've always wanted to share with the planet and the rest
of the cosmos. Write or draw anything you want on your Postcard and
mail it back. Or upload a picture of someone or something you love and
want to share. Participate in the journey online, we're demonstrating
new project elements throughout 2006 and 2007. You'll receive unique
images of your Postcard in space and the enjoyment of Sending a Note to
the Cosmos.
This is sculpture meeting aerospace, it's rocket science for everyone.
Send your own, give as a gift or plan out a larger mosaic today. Buy a
block of cards with your family and friends; fly your message together.
Postcards To Space
exists to develop space-media opportunities for individuals, promote
scientific knowledge and create public art in the new frontier.
Postcards To Space is developing a series of giant inflatable rings
made of plastic film and flying them in Low Earth Orbit and beyond,
where they can be seen from your backyard and across the planet.
Postcards will be digitally printed on the
STREET
ring and other spacecraft, shown on special displays and
emailed back to you. Postcard sales are being used to design, build and
fly these inflatable space sculptures. Help make space art.
